NEWS ABOUT SCDA International SCD School, Halifax, Nova Scotia - July, 2007 Five of our members traveled to Canada for this event, and met up with some old friends from the Bluebonnet Dancers of San Antonio.......... .....more. Bluebonnet Ball, April 2011 Many Austinites traveled South to San Antonio for a great ball. We met friends from San Antonio and Houston, and danced to music by Catherine Fraser and Duncan Smith, a duo from Australia. As always the Bluebonnet dancers had wonderful food laid on for us. Mid Summer Ball, June 2011 This was our 3rd annual ball, and we were delighted to dance to the music of John Taylor, Dave Mostardi and Patti Cobb. This year we danced a new (to us) dance called "The Valentine" by Linda Gaul; the team that won the 2010 Newcastle SCD Festival danced this elegant strathspey. Here is the "YouTube". Enjoy. |
